Medical Aid for Ukraine

Ми працювали над цим останнім проектом деякий час, але щойно отримали підтвердження, що вантажівка вже доставлена! Ми допомогли придбати військовий транспортний засіб, який допоможе обслуговувати та ремонтувати інші машини. Як завжди, ми спрямовуємо наші пожертви на найнагальніші потреби, спираючись на відгуки волонтерів на місцях.

We've been working on this latest project for a while, but we've recieved confirmation that the truck has been delivered! We helped purchase a military transport vehicle which will help maintain and repair other vehicles. As always, we direct our donations to the most pressing needs based on feedback from the volunteers on the ground.

As our medical aid continues to be deployed in Ukraine, we are getting increasingly positive feedback! Thanks to you, WE ARE SAVING LIVES! Every piece of medical aid can save a life. Every single piece counts, and every single piece is being put to work where it matters most.

Thanks to your generosity, we have exceeded our initial goal, but we have put all the extra dollars collected to good use:

• ~ $4300 -- 50 advanced IFAKs -- delivered to Lviv between 11 and 18 March
• ~ $36,000 -- 400 advanced IFAKs -- delivered to Lviv on 6 April
• ~ $6000 -- 100 CAT tourniquets, 100 Quikclot, 100 Israeli bandages -- delivered to Hospitiliers Medical Battalion in Kyiv on 19 April
• ~ $5600 -- 49 advanced IFAKs -- delivered to Lviv on 26 April

Our combat zone medics and doctors are now asking for specific items to stop massive bleeding and address penetrating chest trauma at the front lines, items that they cannot obtain in Ukraine. So with the extra money collected we have ordered about $40,000 worth of the following:

1. CAT tourniquets — 475
2. Israeli bandages — 398
3. Quikclot: 520
4. Сhest seals (2-pack, extra / exit wounds) — 475
5. Trauma shears - 398
6. Burn pads - 1000

Ми отримали надзвичайно позитивні відгуки від фронтових медиків про якість наборів - і все завдяки вам! Перші 450 вдосконалених аптечок IFAK вже є на передовій. Ще 49 будуть доставлені цієї п'ятниці (22.04).

100% зібраних коштів йде на закупівлю та транспортування медичної допомоги, яку потребують наші медики на передовій; ми не маємо жодних адміністративних витрат (комісійні, реклама, заробітна плата тощо). Насправді — багато наших волонтерів зробили значний внесок у закупівлю, транспортування та розподіл допомоги власним коштом. Наша мета проста - зробити все можливе, щоб допомогти Україні та її захисникам.

We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from frontline medics about the quality of the kits - all thanks to you! The original 450 advanced IFAKs already equip those on the frontlines. Another 49 are on their way this Friday (04-22).

The war isn't ending, and neither are our efforts. Our focus is currently still centered on individual medical items in high-demand: CAT tourniquets, Israeli bandages, Quikclot, chest seals, burn pads, and others...

100% of the funds raised are used for the purchase and transport of medical aid requested by our front line doctors and medics; we have no administrative overhead (fees, advertising, salaries, etc). In fact, many of our volunteers have contributed significantly for the purchase, transport, and distribution of aid at their personal expense. Our goal is simple - do everything we can to help Ukraine and her defenders.

Решта 400 аптечок IFAK прибули до Львова 5-го і зараз в процесі розподілу по гарячих точках. Перші 50 аптечок IFAK вже використовуються нашими медиками на передовій, і відгуки про якість та складник є виключно позитивними. 100 джгутів CAT, 100 кровоспинних бинтів QuikClot та 100 ізраїльських бинтів, призначених для медичного батальйону "Госпітальєри" у Києві, вже в дорозі. Крім того, ми очікуємо на прибуття деяких компонентів для ще 30 аптечок IFAK. Дякуємо за вашу минулу та постійну підтримку, а всі зібрані кошти будуть використані виключно на медичне та інше гуманітарне спорядження за запитами наших лікарів та медиків на передовій!

We are pleased to report that the remaining 400 advanced IFAKs arrived in Lviv 4-5-22 and are in the process of being distributed to the hot zones. The initial 50 IFAKs we sent are already in use by our front line doctors and medics, and feedback about the quality and components is exclusively positive. The 100 CAT tourniquets, 100 QuikClot hemostatic bandages, and 100 Israeli bandages destined for Hospitaliers Medical Battalion in Kyiv are enroute. In addition, we await the arrival of some components for another 30 IFAKs. Thank you for your past and continued support, and all money raised will be used exclusively for medical and other humanitarian gear as requested by our front line doctors and medics!

Завдяки ваших щедрих пожертв, ми досягли нашу початкову ціль - $50 000! Перші 50 індивідуальні аптечки (IFAK) вже у Львові та розповсюджуються у гарячі зони. Решта 400 аптечок щойно приземлилися у Варшаві (26/03), і скоро будуть в Україні.

Ми далі збираємо кошти на медичну допомогу, яку просять наші лікарі-добровольцы та медики. Зараз ми закуповуємо джгути (CAT), кровоспинну марлю (Quikclot) та ізраїльські пов’язки, які просив колишній Комендант ЛШ який служить у медичному батальйоні «Госпітальєри» у Києві.

Нині (29/03), ми закупили 100 джгутів (CAT), 100 ізраїльських пов’язок, та 100 марлі Quikclot, які є вже в дорозі до Києва.

Thanks to your generous contributions through GoFundMe, PayPal and Venmo, we have reached our original goal of $50,000! The first 50 advanced IFAKs are already in Lviv and in the process of being distributed to the hot zones, while the other 400 advanced IFAKs just landed in Warsaw (2022-03-26) and are ready for imminent transfer to Ukraine.

We are continuing to raise funds for advanced medical equipment requested by our volunteer doctors and medics on the ground. We are currently in the process of procuring tourniquets, hemostatic gauze, and Israeli bandages requested by a former LSh Komendant volunteering with the Hospitaliers Medical Battalion in Kyiv. Just today, we have purchased 100 CAT tourniquets, 100 Israeli pressure bandages, and 100 Quikclot gauze, which are on their way to Kyiv.
